This is a ride with very few stops, suitable for a rider wanting a of moderate length with only a a couple of hills on the last section.
From Epping, it is mostly downhill to the Parramatta River and mostly flat around Olympic Park. After a coffee stop at Rhodes shopping centre, there will be hills on the homeward leg, mostly a long steady climb with some short sharper pinches. The ride is also a good training ride to do midweek between long weekend rides or for someone regaining fitness after a break, the ride can be done at different paces so check the calendar for the posted pace. Care must be taken on the on-road sections, particularly past shopping centres.
If you have not ridden in traffic before or you plan to do this ride for the first time, please contact the ride leader before partcipating on the day.
