Return via Tway c/p. Short dirt sections. | Full Description | This ride follows the Parramatta cycle path west to the Silverwater Bridge, then south to meet the M4 cycle path. After crossing Parramatta Road near Clyde we cross over the railway station and then we pick up the cycle path along the Duck River.
We stop for a rest break at the Auburn Botanical Gardens along the Duck River. Then we follow quiet roads towards Bass Hill and visit the Dunc Grey Velodrome where you can do a loop on the outside criterium track to get into the spirit of things and have the snack that you brought with you. We then find our way to Bankstown Airport and then on to Liverpool for coffee. After coffee we follow the Transit Way system to Prospect Creek and Canley Vale and then follow the Liverpool Rail Trail back to Parramatta and from there we find our way back to Meadowbank. |
