I'm relatively new to cycling and have come from a swimming and lifesaving background. I ride a very sturdy steel touring bike that allows me to cycle in a variety of environments. I enjoy climbing slowly up steep mountains and exploring a little bit off the beaten track and I try to run rides that have similar characteristics. I travel a lot for work and my bike frequently accompanies me on these trips. As a consequence my main "cycling claim-to-fame" is that I've actually cycled more in other countries than I have in Australia.
