I have been cycling all my life and started as a young boy on a mountain bike, racing through the woods. Then, I tried a road bike for the first time when I was 12yrs and fell in love with the speed on the road.

I knew then this was a sport that I wanted to get into and continue to become a better rider. Since joining Bike North just over a year, the passion for the sport grew rapidly, in which I wanted to be part of creating and leading these great NSW rides that I have been on.

Meeting nice people on rides and discovering new routes through the city and national park was something I wanted to give back and help people to improve their skills and push their limits to the next level.

Cycling in a group or as a leader reminds me of my ski/coaching days back in Canada, in which I enjoyed being part of a group or leading the group to achieve a target or goal at the end of the season. It's about learning and improving your skill and mindset to overcome any obstacle you face, but having a lot of fun at the sametime in a control safe environment.
