I have ridden a bike reasonably regularly most of my life. I have always commuted by bike over various distances. My current commute is a gentle 6km or so from North Epping to Macquarie University campus. Weekends I generally do at least one hard ride typically on my trusty steel Dawes. I joined BN initially to find some easier rides to do with my kids with the safety of a group. We are easily recognisable when my daughter joins me on the tandem.
